Originally released in 2010 as Bitty Buttons, the brand name was changed to Lalaloopsy shortly after launch. They began to grow in popularity during the holiday season in 2010. A variety of Lalaloopsy dolls have been released, as well as several Lalaloopsy themed video games. In November 2012 and February 2013, Lalaloopsy TV specials and TV series began airing on Nick Jr. and Netflix. Even though she has more friends than she can count, she loves to love every single one of them.

They are mini versions of my daughter’s favorite bigger Lalaloopsy dolls. They are perfect for the on-the-go and travel fun. I love that they don’t take up a lot of room and she loves their size.
Fun to take along to a friends or on a car ride. My daughter has 6 little Lalaloopsy dolls. Now, G-Girl is about 3 months shy of the suggested age of four and up. I am guessing however that an older child, one that likes to collect and display cute things, would really enjoy this set. The low price point (suggested retail of $6.99) puts it in the range where a kid could easily pick this up with their allowance, or receive it as a between occasions treat.
