How do you mix vodka with white tea?


If you do not have a cocktail shaker you can mix the ice, vodka, peach schnapps, and sour mix in a cup using a spoon or shake it in a mason jar with a lid. Then strain it over the shot glasses, again to remove the ice from falling in. So, most white tea shots are not made with tea, but this recipe actually has white tea in it. The tea can be made using white tea bags or loose leaf tea.

White tea comes from the very new leaves and buds that are harvested from the camellia sinensis plant for only a couple weeks in spring in Fujian, China. It is only considered white tea if it is harvest from this region. These shots are so much fun and are great for parties!

It was the sweet and sour mix that is added that gives the shot a greenish tinge that reminded them of a cup of green tea. Even though there is no actual green tea in the shot. Combine 3 sprigs of thyme, lemon juice (or a whole lemon wedge/round for more flavor), and honey in a cocktail shaker and muddle with the end of a wooden spoon. Then add in the vodka and tea and give it a good stir.
